Reflection paragraph on sources
Overall I think I had some pretty good resources. When you have a popular topic like I do it makes research a whole lot easier. For the most part I think i was successful, my sources were good, they were very informative and helpful. Espn, not only was the most helpful, but it was also the most trustworthy. Espn had the most informative information on Reggie Bush that I could use for my blog. I didn't have any sources that showed bias toward Reggie.

Reflection Paragraph On Process
I enjoyed working on this Reggie Bush project. I thought it was really easy because last year I did a blog similar to this one, just with a different topic. The easiest part on Bush was finding pictures, stats, and articles, because is is really well known. The hardest part was trying to find quotes, and what I want to know about home, because he's my favorite player. I know almost everything about him! I enjoyed reading the articles on want critics thought about Bush signing with Detroit and etc.. I didnt have anything I didn't like about this project. If I had to do this project over again, I would choose a topic away from sports, because I've already did an athlete twice.
Reflection Paragraph On Findings
Reggie Bush is an important addition to the franchise of the Detroit Lions. Other than bring his great football skills, he his gonna bring in many more fans to see the Lions play. He's know for being a great receiver out of the backfield with great speed, but when giving a chance to run the ball he has been around 1,000 yards the last two years. Bush has said, he wants to win championships, nothing else matters. Critics think that Bush is that missing peice that the Detroit Lions have been thriving for. But with great skill, comes great responsibility. Bush a new born dad earlier this month, has a responsibility not just two be at home to father his daughter, but to be at work and prepare for the upcoming season. He's gonna have a really tight schedule. I am really excited to see the Lions play this year, and they aren't even my favorite team.

Finding Paragraph #3
Goals... every player have them. I wanted to know what was Reggie Bush's goals for this year.“I came here to work,” Bush said, via the Detroit News. “I didn’t come here to vacation. I came here to win championships, to win football games, and that’s what I look forward to doing.” Bush is clear, that he's dedicated to the fullest to winning many championships in the future.

Finding Paragraph #2
In the past few months the NFL has been in there off season. Many Free Agents have signed including Reggie Bush signing with the Detroit Lions. I wanted to know what do critics think his signing with the lions mean for the future of Detroit. In this article i read, one critic said he revolutionizes the Lions offense. They already have one of the best offenses in the league, and he still makes the better. He was brought in not only because he he's one of the top running backs, but also because he will take pressure off of Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford.

Finding Paragraph #1
Reggie Bush and his Fiancée Lilt Avagyan gave birth to a daughter on May 2 of this year, which i believe is gonna cut into his practice time with his teamates for the upcoming season. I wanted to know what're his plans for spending time with his family/new born baby while being at practice. Bush said “Each week I’ll be here Monday through Thursday with the team and I’ll fly back Thursday afternoon. I’ll be home with my fiance and the baby until Sunday, then I’ll fly back". This gives hime time at home to be a dad, and time on the feild to better himself with his new team mates.

Bush has been under pressure in recent months to hand over college
football’s highest award. The NCAA handed down sanctions and a two-year
bowl ban to USC after an investigations discovered that Bush and men’s
basketball player O.J. Mayo had received improper benefits during their
time with the Trojans.
Bush released this statement on the New Orleans Saints website concerning forfeiting the Heisman Trophy.
“One of the greatest honors of my life was winning the Heisman Trophy in 2005. For me, it was a dream come true.
But I know that the Heisman is not mine alone. Far from it. I know that my victory was made possible by the discipline and hard work of my teammates, the steady guidance of my coaches, the inspiration of the fans, and the unconditional love of my family and friends. And I know that any young man fortunate enough to win the Heisman enters into a family of sorts. Each individual carries the legacy of the award and each one is entrusted with its good name.
It is for these reasons that I have made the difficult decision to forfeit my title as Heisman winner of 2005. The persistent media speculation regarding allegations dating back to my years at USC has been both painful and distracting. In no way should the storm around these allegations reflect in any way on the dignity of this award, nor on any other institutions or individuals. Nor should it distract from outstanding performances and hard-earned achievements either in the past, present or future.”
It’s the first time the award has been forfeited by a player.
Bush had to give up his treasured Heisman Trophy in 2010 due to receiving illegal benefits during his time at USC, which i think sucks because he outworked the competition to win the trophy, the benefits had nothing to do with his performance.

What do I want to know about my topic
Why did Bush choose Detroit over all the other teams that wanted him?
What will Bush accomplish this year?
How will him and Calvin Johnson pair up?
Why did my team ever trade him?
What will Bush accomplish this year?

Monday, May 13, 2013
What I already know about him
I know bush is one of the fastest running backs and the league. He just signed a four year contract with the Detroit Lions. Bush has played for 3 teams in the last 4 years. Reggie has rushed for 1000 yards only once in his career. Most teams don't use him for his ball carrying ability anyway, most teams use him for his receiving out of the backfield
The story behind my topic choice
Reggie Bush... Reggie bush is my favorite nfl football player. He's my favorite because I feel like I relate to him a lot. Not only was he my favorite player coming out of college, but he was also drafted by my favorite team, which made it even that much sweeter. Reggie has bounced around lately being on 3 teams in the last 4 years. Reggie bush left my favorite team the New Orleans Saints 3 years ago via trade, he then spent 2 years as a Miami Dolphin before entering free agency. Reggie has signed a new 4 year contract with the Detroit Lions. With this new addition I think the lions are primed for the post-season. I choose bush because i wanna know whats his work ethic (workouts) like, what are his goals for this year, what're his plans for spending time with his family/new born baby while being at practice, and what does critics think his signing with the lions mean for the future of Detroit. I think it's gonna be interesting to see this new DYNAMIC duo of Reggie Bush and Calvin "MEGA TRON" Johnson.

They don't take their education seriously, and are always in some kind of trouble. It means to me that they are doing things that they know isn't right to see where it will get them

If today was my last day alive, ill try to do everything in life i ever wanted to do. i would try to have the most fun i ever had in that little bit of time that i had left. I'd throw a big party which would be like a celebration at the end of the day which would leave people something to remember me by. I would give away the last of my money to whoever needs it because when your dead and gone you can't take anything with you.

How could living healthy affect our way of living?
If everyone learned to live healthy the world would be a better place to live. There is all sort of problems that occur in our world. If we live healthy it could not just benefit our world but also could benefit us as well. We have drinkers and alcoholics or problem drinkers in this world and drinking too much occasionally can lead to heart failure as said in How drinking affects your health . Smoking is also a problem that if fixed can helps us have a healthier way of living. As said in Harmful Affects of Smoking Cigarettes that One in two lifetime smokers will die from their habit. Half of these deaths will occur in middle age. This advice benefits us because we do alot of unhealthy things in this world like eating more junk food then we do healthy foods. We don't get alot of exercise either, that's why some of us are different sizes, skinny fat etc... I think if everyone asked themselves this question we would have alot of different answers, but probably alot of good ideas.

Is it possible to drive away from your problems???
In the book Rules of the Road this quote was said "I'd be driving along way from home; but I wouldn't be driving away from my problem". This led my teacher to ask, is it possible to drive away from your problems. after a couple minutes of thinking and putting ideas together, I've concluded that it is not possible to drive away from your problems, because wherever you go to the problem will follow you, it may be delayed, but the past will likely catch up to you sooner or later.
It really depends on what kind of trouble your in. If your in alot of trouble then i think that there is no way your gonna drive away from it, ask the criminals in trouble with the law. If you in no that much trouble, then maybe you an drive away, but it won't be easy like drive from one state to the closest state near it. If your in very minor trouble, then you will have a good chance of driving away because it has a very little chance of being remembered.
One of the reasons i say that is because the problem is likely to repeat wherever you go no matter what the problem is. Like in Rules Of the Road , Jenna is visiting Texas to avoid seeing her father, but eventually when her trip with Mrs. Gladstone is over, she's going to have to come back home. Like Jenna her problem is only delayed. I wonder whats the result of something that is delayed, will it be forgotten?
Another reason i believe that you can't drive away from your problems is no matter how far or long you are gone, someone is always going to remember it. Like in crime if your in trouble with the law, they can put out wanted posters, television ads, and can keep it in a police system so its always remembered. if your running from something and run into the same thing somewhere else then what was the point of running away. If you drive away from your problem, you will probably remember that problem for a very long time.
Now I've stated why i don't think its possible to drive away from any problem you have. Whether you run far, or for a long time, you are only delaying the inevitable. You cannot run away from something to major as I've concluded.

What does research say it takes to be a good employee in the real world
1.show up for work everyday unless sick, if sick notify employer as soon as possible 2.do you have a good attitude and are willing to take. On new responsibilities when asked. 3.Do you ask questions to try and learn more 4.do you go out your way to help others and do others seem to enjoy working with you. 5.Are you eager to Go to work
What does it take to be a great employee in rules of the road
In the book rules of the road, Jenna shows how to be a good employee. She has a reason to come To work everyday. She does what is asked of her. When her father showed up to her job unannounced and caused a big scene she apologized for it. She has good inferring skills which helps her when she doesn't no what to say.
What does it take to become a great employee
To me to become a great employee, you have to be a good, hard worker. You have to do everything that is asked of you no mater how much you like or dislike it. A good employee also helps others out and is not afraid to stay after work for overtime. A good worker also doesn't miss work they will show up prepared to work every day.

What makes you feel successful
What makes me feel successful is that I play football, I have coaches to teach me what I donn't know about the game. I play football on a regular basis, and believe/push myself to the best of my ability.i love the game. I know that very few make it but I hope to be one of those few.

Are You Ambitious ?
You are ambitions but not completely single-minded. You will do well but may lack the drive to reach the very top. You want to have a career and a life but you might find that juggling the two is trickier than you anticipated. You worry that your family and friends suffer because of the pressure of your work. You also worry that your work suffers when you pay too much attention to things outside it. In short, you are likely to be very stressed and many find it hard to cope.

Reflection paragraph on process
Writing this blog on Jonathan Stewart was kinda easy. It was easy because i watched him play in college and still get to see him play every once in a while on tv. It was difficult too because i didn't know what was supposed to go on the blog. If i had to do this project again i probably wouldn't choose Jonathan Stewart, I'll probably choose my favorite NFL player Reggie Bush.

Reflecting Paragraph on Findings
Jonathan Stewart is a good NFL player. He was a player who his team had high hopes for as it shows in his draft number. He has had a career in 4years that most players don't get to have in their whole career. He was one of the top high school recruits in the nation and now look where he is. He attended one of the best schools in the nation, the University of Oregon. What i enjoyed most about researching him was the information i found out, i didn't know about most of this stuff. If i had to this project differently maybe i would've did it differently at the begginning.

Quote and citation #3

this means to me that since jonathan stewart is the power of the team he's smash and since williams is the the speed of the team or dash they call themselves 'smash and dash'
